A rainy night under the flyover
A young office worker takes shelter under Canal Road Flyover. The rain is loud. The phone is louder. Master Yip looks up, hands over an old slipper and says: “No need to carry every worry home.”
Master Yip is off for morning tea, leaving you in charge of the little stall. Meet tired neighbours, turn their troubles into paper gremlins, and end every ritual by welcoming something kinder.
This playful ritual borrows from Hong Kong’s villain-hitting tradition. Your targets are paper worries, and every ending makes room for good company.
Five steps to a softer evening
- Light three incense sticks by swiping or tapping. Blow through an optional microphone, or use the button. Master Yip helps if time runs out.
- Choose a worry or write your own before starting. It appears on the paper gremlin and is not saved.
- Whack for 68 seconds. Tap with one or two fingers, or swipe for a heavy whack. Rub back and forth with three direction changes, draw a full circle, or bring two fingers together for special moves. Follow the rhythm prompts for bonuses. The five icons are gesture hints only.
- Drag the pork into the white tiger’s mouth, or press the feeding button. A well-fed tiger gives a small reward bonus.
- Tap the talisman to welcome good fortune. Collect oil money and merit, a kind fortune and sometimes a new friend.
Whacking lasts 68 active seconds. Later ritual steps wait for your input. Pause whenever you need; hiding the page pauses the ritual too. A cancelled ritual gives no rewards.
Sound is synthesized: soft rain, tram-like chimes and distinct kit strikes. Device speech is optional; voice availability depends on your device. Vibration is used when supported.
